Anchorman 2 a severe possibility

Let me give it to you hard and straight… I love quoting movies, I probably
do it on a daily basis.  But, when something becomes so fucking popular that
you can’t walk down the street without hearing “milk was a bad choice” or
see a shirt that says “vote for Pedro” DAMMIT I GET ANNOYED!!!  I want to
step on their feet and push them over.  No I don’t want to do that but it
still makes me shiver a bit.  All my friends say I’m ridiculous for thinking
that but, it’s just how I am.  Sorry, let me continue now.  I loved
Anchorman, I thought it was a great entrance mode for Will Ferrell and
hopefully he can get out of that mode and into another but that’s a
different story.  Word comes that the entire cast would be interested in
doing another Anchorman and I’m all for it.  Here’s the monkey poop from the
hard hittin gang over at firstshowing:

“McKay mentioned that they’ve thrown around a lot of ideas, including taking
Ron Burgundy into the 1980’s, but nothing has worked out yet. “The
opportunity to be that free and loose. The audience would give us a lot of
rope with that character at this point, a lot of free rein. They all know
it, and they all know it’s going to get crazy, and that’s just too tempting.
It’s like oh my God, where can we go? What’s the next level of this idea we
can push to?” He goes on to say that “we got about seven ideas we’re kicking
around right now, so somewhere out of all of them, it will somehow fit
together.”

It continues to say that it’s definitely a very good possibility that it
would happen.  Gang, not about the story… but does it bother you when
people “over-quote” movies?  Do you get sick of the quotes too?
