So Vin Diesel hasn’t really put out much lately.  He’s currenty filming “The Fast and The Furious 4″ with Paul Walker(Brian Slapnuts) who rocks shit in any movie and if you haven’t seen “The Death and Life of Bobby Z” go right now… drop what you’re doing, stop reading this and go rent that movie, it’s smart, funny, and just fucking awesome.  Anyway, i digress.  This poster just came out which I found thanks to firstshowing, and I saw the babylon a.d. trailer like a week ago.  The premise looks good, but i still have mixed feelings about the actual trailer itself and if the movie can pan out to be anything good.  This is the premise of the movie thanks to IMDB:

Veteran-turned-mercenary Thoorop takes the high-risk job of escorting a woman from Russia to China. Little does he know that she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest in order to produce a genetically modified Messiah.

Doesn’t the opening dialogue by Vin seem like Chronicles of Riddick to you.  When i heard it and saw the opening camera shots before i knew what it was the first thought that came to mind was Chronicles of Riddick 2 or Pitch Black 3.  So gang i ask unto thee… do you like?  How do you think Vin Diesel is doing these days eh?
