Like the title character in the hit “Borat,” “Bruno” is based on a skit character — this time an Austrian faux fashionista — from Cohen’s former HBO series, “Da Ali G Show.”

Honestly, I didn’t much care for Borat… Don’t get me wrong, i liked it in places… but i think that my expectations were too high.. From word of mouth, i had gathered that this was going to make me puncture my lungs with laughter and so i went into the theaters expecting it to deliver just that… i think the repetitive nature of it really brought down the excitement for me.  I think Sasha is one of the funniest actors in the hollywood today.  It’s a natural personality that drives the laughter from you other than a script in which the actor is told how to be funny… Lets see how bruno holds up in 2009 which is its slated release date as of now.  Freeends, what do you think of this news? did you like Borat? Baboomdang!!!!
